There are a ton of girls who deal with this problem, so if your one of them follow these tips to avoid red bumpy legs from shaving.
1: Allow your legs to be fully saturated by water for at least 3 minutes. While waiting for 3 minutes to pass, wash your body. You should wash your legs before shaving because once your done shaving using a lofa or washcloth will most likely irritate your legs.
2: Exfoliate before you shave. This gets rid of all the dead skin, there fore making it way easier going over your legs with a razor.
3: Choose a good shaving cream. If you know what ingredients normally irritate your skin like alcohol or peppermint which are common ingredients in shaving cream then try to find one without those.
Or you could always try a lotion or body scrub for shaving.
4: Don't use a dull razor. Dull razors lead to nicks and cuts so choose a sharp one. Also while going over your legs apply a slight pressure.
5: After shaving apply a lotion to keep your legs hydrated.
I hope these tips helped!:)

Skin routine!
Hey everybody,
I thought I would share my day and night skin routine and what helps me keep my acne under control and my skin smooth and fresh:)
Every night when I'm in the shower, I take of my makeup and wash my face with St.Ives fresh skin apricot scrub. The reason I wash my face in the shower is because the steam opens up pores, there fore the product gets deeper into the skin. I love using this because it makes my skin extremely smooth and helps clear up my acne. Depending on how I'm feeling or how bad my skin is, after the scrub I use my Derma gel face wash. Derma gel is the knock off brand of spectro gel but its the exact same thing. I don't mind this face wash but unlike the apricot scrub you can't feel it working and getting into your pours. But it really does help with acne.
After my skin is dry I sometimes put a moisturizer on it. If I don't use that then I put on my prescription acne medication.
Since everybody has different skin types this routine may not work for you. But I'd defiantly recommend both of those face washes:)

Tips for healthy hair.
Heat styling, dying our hair and perms are just a few things that can leave our hair in a rough state. If your hair is damaged, dull and dry follow these tips for healthy renewed hair.
1: Skip the heat. I know how hard this can be, especially if your hair is constantly frizzy! A few things to make avoiding heat easier is.. If your having problems with frizz after a shower apply an anti-frizz serum to your hair. Also let your hair air dry if your not in a rush, or just blow dry it with cool air. It takes longer but I'd rather blow dry with cool air then damage it. If your having problems with finding a cute hair style to wear down, then before bed each night separate your hair in to sections and make to rope braids, in the morning take them out and you should have wavy/curly hair.
2: A lot of shampoos contain alcohol in them, this makes our hair dry and rough. So next time when you're going to your local drug store try looking for a shampoo without alcohol in it. Prell is a good shampoo that doesn't contain alcohol.
3: Hold back on dying your hair.
We all like a bit of a change from time to time, but when you are excessively dying your hair it starts to become damaged. And if you bleach your hair that's even worse! Once your hair is extremely damaged, it becomes way more noticeable. It starts to look like straw! And once your hair is dead and dry its extremely hard to get it healthy again. Sometimes you can't even take a shower without it breaking off! So your last resort would be to cut off all of your hair!
4: Brush your hair properly, especially when its wet! Maybe it doesn't seem like such a big deal but brushing your hair properly will keep it from breaking and splitting. It also saves you from the pain of tugging and pulling! If you have problems combing/brushing through your hair try a leave in conditioner.
5: Give your hair a treat! Once a week use some sort of hair repair masque or hot oil treatment. It helps get rid of a few split ends and also makes it silky smooth!
If you follow these tips your hair will thank you:)
Eye shadow for your eye color.
Everybody has amazing eyes, they are all so different and unique. So here are a few tips to make your eyes stand out if your having difficulties.
For blue eyes.
If you have blue eyes, you should stay away from blue eye shadow and blue eyeliner. A lot of times you have probably heard somebody tell you that if you want your blue eyes to stand out use blue eyeliner. If you want your eyes to pop go for a dark brown or black eyeliner, this goes for all eye colors. If you want your blue eyes to pop you should stick with earth-tones with a bit of a purple base, like browns, taupe and colored grays. If you want to switch it up a cool colored rose color will make your blue eyes beautiful!
For green eyes.
Since green eyes are one of the most rarest eye color in the world, why wouldn't you want them to stand out?
To make your greens pop you should try different purple shades for more of dramatic look. If you want your eyes to stand out but look more natural, you should try more of a soft mocha brown or brown colors with orange tones. Also stick to more of a brown or black eyeliner.
For brown eyes.
Luckily brown eyes can get away with basically any eye shadow color. Mainly greens, purples and pinks make brown eyes pop! Brown eyed people should stick with a brown or black eyeliner. If your brown eyes have gold flecks in them then you should try a gold shimmer color.
For hazel eyes.
Hazel eyes are very similar to green and brown eyes. If you have hazel eyes you should try earth tones and greens, pink, warm purple colors and golden colors.
You should also use brown or black eyeliner.

Drugstore vs. High end products.
July 12th 2012,
drugstore vs High end cosmetics, is there really a difference in the quality? Not really.
Yes, we all may be tempted to buy high end cosmetics, because of there perfect packaging or that line "You get what you pay for". But before you go out to Sephora and break the bank maybe you should try to consider a drug store:)
Mascaras,
Truth is, Drug store mascara is not ANY different from high end mascaras. In some cases drug store mascara can actually be better then high end stores. Studies have even proven there is no difference, only in the price.
Eye shadows,
There also isn't much of a difference in eye shadow! Yes, high end eye shadows can be extremely nice, full of pigment and last all day. But who says you can't find a dupe at a drugstore? Chances are you can, so before you spend $20+ dollars on a tin of eye shadow try to find a dupe:)
High end eye shadows can be a hit and miss, same goes for drugstore but if you find the right products its not any different.
(Formula's physician sells amazing eye shadows at the drug store;)
Foundation,
Foundation is a different story, its said to be defiantly better in high end stores. Although you can still find a few good foundations in the drug store. I think the key to having a good foundation is by really paying attention to your skin. If its oily, go for a oil free foundation that you can find at the drug store.
Lipstick,
Lip stick is also around the same quality, there can be hits and misses in both the high end stores and drugstores. As long as you find a good brand in the drugstore like Revlon then your lipstick should look great!
Blush, bronzer and powder.
Once again, its all the same. Like I mentioned up above, there can be hits and misses but if you find the right product your sure to love it!
So before we go out and spend all our money on high end products, take a look at what the drugstore has to offer:)
TIP: Skip the $24 eye shadow primer, instead pick up a $1 concealer stick by n.y.c and use that as a primer. Works like a charm and keeps my eye shadow lasting ALL day!

Product rave!
July 11 2012,
I'v heard a lot of mixed feelings about repairing hair masks. Some people say not to buy them because they simply DO NOT repair your hair and just temporarily bond your split ends together, other people say it works wonders and brings their hair back to life. So I thought I would try one out, a few days ago I went to Shoppers and bought a few hair products, one of them including TRESemme rejuvenating mud masque from TRESemme's nourishing rituals line.
Three things that I was sold on were 1:It was a reasonable $5.99 2: I really liked the packaging and 3: The smell is super nice!
The first night I used this product I washed my hair and conditioned it and applied this product to my damp hair and left it in for around 3-5 minutes as the instructions said. While it was in my hair it was extremely smooth and silky, so smooth I could hardly keep it from slipping out of my hands!
After I washed it out and my hair was dry I did see a slight difference, my hair was softer and easier to brush/comb through. I wasn't exactly amazed at the first result but continued to use it..
Second shower I did the same routine washed it out and it turned out little better then the last use.
Third shower, same routine washed it out and my hair was left extremely silky and shinny. It leaves my hair much more manageable and healthy looking. As for the repair part of it, my hair is much more moisturized, frizz is no longer a problem and my split ends actually seem to be going away!
I love this product and have only been using it for 3 days!
I defiantly recommend this product if you have the 3 D's.
Dull, dry and damaged hair.
Of course everybody's hair is different so you may not get the same results but its DEFIANTLY worth the try!
Comment below what some of your favorite hair masks are:)

July 11 2012,
Today is the first day I have started blogging. Its something I'v been wanting to do for a while now actually. To start off I'm a beauty FANATIC! I'm fascinated by the world of beauty. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not a "I need to be looking beautiful everyday of the week" type of girl who obsesses over looks, but I love it and I don't really understand why. Maybe its because I love how much makeup can enhance your looks, or how you can collect it all. Point is I'm in love with it.
Aside from beauty I also enjoy fashion:) And when I'm not busy watching beauty tutorials I'm a normal down to earth girl. I love nature and the outdoors, I'm a very honest and trustworthy person. I'm not exactly sure how good this blog will work out, but I'm hoping it goes in the right direction.
